When time is short but creativity is boundless, magic happens. During SA Fashion Week 2025, Brandon Barnard brought the Sungoddess fashion range to life in an unexpected space—a parking lot just outside the venue.

With only a brief window between shows, Brandon worked with three models from the Sungoddess runway, quickly creating a makeshift set that allowed the clothing’s elegance to shine through in a raw and authentic environment. The result? A spontaneous yet polished editorial shoot that celebrates the power of light, African identity, and cultural presence—hallmarks of both the Sungoddess brand and Brandon’s own photographic visual language.
