Fashion Photographer and director Brandon Barnard brings us an intimate look behind the lens in his latest creative shoot, set against the rustic charm of an old pink barn.

What began as a casual drive soon transformed into “Play Day” – a bold exploration of light, movement, and style. With the warm textures of the barn as a backdrop and South Africa’s natural light as the only source, Brandon captured the elegance and raw energy of three rising talents from Aura Models: Skyla, Gaia, and Leia.

Styled in flowing silhouettes from Africa Rise, paired with bold pieces from jewellery designer Kirsten Goss, the shoot blends fashion, spontaneity, and storytelling. With art direction by Nats, the team achieved a look that’s both editorial and deeply personal.
