What’s in my
“Photography” Bag
As a versatile photographer, I am always on the move. Whether shooting on location or in-studio — from corporate headshots and fashion editorials to advertising campaigns and fitness photography — what I carry in my bag is essential to capturing the right shot at the right time. Even when I’m off the clock, I never miss an opportunity to photograph the right image.
Watch What’s In My Bag below
My Sealand backpack and reliable Nikon gear go wherever I go. In my photography bag, I carry a Nikon D850 and Z8, both fitted with 24–70mm lenses — perfect for a wide range of scenarios. I also pack an 85mm lens for portraits and a 14–24mm wide-angle lens for more dramatic shots.
Battery life is never a problem — I keep eight Nikon batteries and a charger on hand. A waterproof memory card case, keeping everything protected. I carry three Profoto shoes for lighting setups, a Rode mic for clean audio when filming, and a few daily essentials: Bose earphones, a Stanley glass, phone chargers, a cutting knife, and my keychain.

The list of what I pack:
Lenses
14-24mm Lens
Wide-angle lens for the dramatic shots. I use this mostly for landscape or crazy close up angles where i want to get distortion on a persons body or face.
24-70mm Lens
My go-to lens to capture those iconic moments. Most versatlity for photography and video
Audio, Power & Storage

Video Micro Mic
Crisp and clean audio for when I am filming BTS or interviewing clients.

SanDisk Memory Card
I always have enough storage on hand. Lack of space cannot be the reason for not capturing the perfect shot.

Camera Battery
I carry a minimum of 8 batteries. Always on the go and always powered up.
What Keeps Me Going

Stanley Thermoflask
Hydration is crucial when shooting on location. Why not do it in style? Keeping me chilled on hot summer days and warm during cold south african winters.
Sealand Backpack
I love their ethos and brand values. Plus I think they design pretty awesome bags. I hope to do collaboration with them in the future.
I love the orange — a nod to Agent Orange Design, my design and production company.

Bose Earphones
Don’t buy cheap. Bose is by far the best on the market and their back-up service is excellent. I use them when doing video and just relaxing or getting into the mood to do a job.
