Empowering previously disadvantaged Black artists through YouTube, social media, and an online platform where they can showcase and sell their artwork.
We will design and develop the website to support their growth and visibility.
Project Artist is an initiative dedicated to empowering previously disadvantaged Black artists through the power of technology.
In just one year, we aim to uplift 25 local South African artists, giving them the tools to thrive in the digital world. Each artist will be filmed and their story documented, providing insight into their journey and creative process. With the help of a phone, social media training, and a banking app, they will learn to promote and sell their artwork online.
This project bridges the gap between artistry and entrepreneurship, ensuring these talented artists have the resources they need to succeed.
Featuring: Frans “Maga-Maga” Mothapo
One of these incredible artists is Frans “Maga-Maga” Mothapo—a visionary whose bold, expressive work tells deeply personal stories rooted in resilience and identity. His art captures the heartbeat of his community and reflects the beauty of perseverance through creativity.
Discover Frans’s journey, his passion, and the powerful message behind his work in his exclusive documentary—now streaming on YouTube. Don’t miss it.
In one year we plan on empowering 25 local artists.
Over the past six months, we have interviewed 100 individuals from diverse backgrounds for the Face Value social experiment. This project aims to explore the phenomenon of first impressions and how perceptions change as we learn more about each person.
We plan to launch a brand awareness campaign designed to enhance your brand’s visibility on social media, connecting with audiences in meaningful and impactful ways.
